Dances
Preface
The following brief descriptions of the dances will, we hope, help you derive
maximum pleasure from your Ball experience. To this end, the following definitions
  may be of assistance:

In a duple minor dance,"1st corners" refers to 1st man and 2nd
woman, regardless of their positions at the time.
Dancers take hands for "rights and lefts", whereas no hands are
    taken in a "circular hey".
So spread your wings in joyous flight,
and dance with us throughout the night.

  Duck and Duckess of Kent
